Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Leo Review Swatches

Hi there! Just yersterday, I finally got my order... another addition to my lipstick collection. 😃 It's the new shade from Jeffree Star Cosmetics -LEO....

Php 1250.  

Shade is described as matte honey brown.

Here is a swatch on my arms.

I know.... I already have bunch of lipsticks with the same shade, but I know deep inside of me... I gotta have this. This is my first product ever from Jeffree Star Cosmetics.

Lol. Yes Jeffree reminded us that making out is not allowed if you are wearing this lipstick. Wanna know why? because this lipstick transfers. It doesn't dry completely but and totally cool with that.

It doesn't have any smell on it. I wish they could have just added just a little bit of sweet or mint smell.

I swatched this on my arms along with my other lipsticks that I believe are on the same shade...

Conclusion? Kylie Ginger and Jeffree Star Leo will pass as an identical twin. lol The only difference is the formula and the smell. Kylie dries completely unlike this one, Kylie smells like vanilla cupcake while Jeffree Star is unscented. Both lippies are very long wearing, wore them up to 6 hours, and yes its still there, as long as you dont eat oily foods...   I find Jeffree Star more buildable than Kylie though, you can layer it up and it wont crumble. ☺

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette Review/Swatches

Hi there gorgeous! :)

There are many eyeshadow palettes out there but this one caught my attention. You know the feeling when you want something and you can't sleep because you are like debating with yourself (yes i do that, but only in my mind lol) whether to get that something or not.

I gave in.

I got this around July 2016. Paid PHP 2500 for this palette.

It has a velvety case has a mirror and comes with a brush as well...

The brush is ok...it's not super soft like those pink vegan brushes of Wet n Wild.

The only thing I hate about this isssss........

THE SHELF LIFE..... 6 MONTHS UPON OPENING.....😢

It has a very beautiful range of colors...pinks...reds.. 14 beautiful colors. You can create lots of looks using this palette. This is actually like the Holy Grail Palette of Violet Voss. ☺

The formula is very buttery, pigmented and it doesn't have any smell. It has lots of fall out so don't forget to tap you brush first before applying the shadow to your eyes.

Im giving this 4.0/5! 4 because of the shelf life. Lol

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Project Chimps LE Review/Swatches

I think every make up lover should have at least one red lipstick in their lipstick collection. I had Ruby Woo but I got rid of it since I dont like wearing red lipsticks but that's not the case with this one.....

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Project Chimps is a limited edition shade released by Kat Von D Beauty to promote cruelty free beauty and to raise awareness. Projects Chimps - a place where rescued chimps (from labs) are being rehabilitated will be the beneficiary. It was released last August 24 2016. It's sold out already. Im glad I was able to get one. ☺

This is the only red lipstick Ill wear.

PRICE: PHP 1250 (PLUS SF 100)

I really like the color of this lipstick. Anyone can wear it. It doesn't have a smell. Im surprised that it stayed for like 5 hours (I removed it because I have to eat my lunch and I hate eating with lipstick on. As much as possible I WANT THEM GONEEE). It's buildable, i wont crumble (just like the other liquid lipsticks of KVD Beauty). ☺

It's a little bit tacky but I dont careee I love itttt. 🎶🎶🎶🎵

I hope they restock this color and make it permanent. If you know KathleenLights, she love this one too! ☺

Verdict:


The price ranges from Php 2000- Php 2500 here in the Philippines. I think its ok because its a lip kit (contains a lip liner and a liquid lipstick).



The smell is quite overwhelming for some people, but for me,I love it. It smells like vanilla cupcake.


The formula. It's very long wearing. Wore it for 6 hours and It's still there (unless you eat oily foods). It crumbles so avoid putting too much product on your lips.


I suggest you exfoliate your lips before using it and you can also use lip balm underneath.


I like it. ☺

Kat Von D Lock It Foundation Medium 52

Hi! So, this is going to be my first post ever. I started my make up "addiction" late 2014. I'm a late bloomer. Lol I have owned and tried so many products already but I didn't have the courage (or im just too lazy) too blog. ☺ Enough of the chit chat, let's start the craziness now! 😃😃😃

KAT VON D LOCK IT FOUNDATION MEDIUM 52

I love this foundation. Got this thru preorder. PRICE: PHP 2000 plus shipping fee (Php 100). Waited for like a month for the item to arrive here in the Philippines.

This foundation is a full coverage foundation. Here are the claims of this foundation:

24 Hour Wear

Transfer Resistant

Matte Finish

Oil Free

For All Skin Types

Here are the ingredients....

It comes in a pump bottle and has 30ml content. ( I have the old bottle. They changed the design of the bottle already.)

I'm in between NC 25-30 by the way. The first bottle I bought was Medium 53. At first I thought that Medium 53 was a perfect match for me BUT this foundation oxidizes after several hours so I decided to destash the previous one and purchased Medium 52 instead.

It sucks the I dont have a swatch of  Medim 53 here.

The Verdict.

Well, I have a combination of oily and dry skin. This works well if you moisturize your face first before applying it beacause if you have some dry patches somewhere around your face, girlllllllll, it will definitely show up. Lol It can also be cakey if you dont blend it right away.

Im satisfied with the longevity of this foundation. It definitely stayed on my face for 8 freakin hours. I bet it can still stay longer than 8 hours. 

Its matte. Super matte, P E R I O D.

The smell is some kind of flowery. Just a little smell though. Its tolerable.

And is it TRANSFER RESISTANT? Im dries completely. I think it is transfer free unlike the other foundations that transfers on your clothing, (unless you rub your face on a cloth it will definitely transfer.

 It also works well with a brush or a sponge too ( Im using Morphe Deluxe Buffer M436 and Beauty Blender). 

I also did not have any acne break outs on this product. Just make sure you use make up remover first before washing your face. 

Overall. Im giving this a 4.4 out of 5 rating. This is actually one of my favorites! :)
